  The following lenticular lenses are original VariVue lenses that have been in use in all varieties of lenticular images, ranging from postcards, to bill boards and tens of thousands of stereo and animated images that we are all acquainted with, since 1939. For the most part, these particular lenses were manufactured by VariVue in the late 1970's to the early 1980's. They represent the finest lenticular lenses ever produced. They are ideal for stereo/animation printers, darkroom specialists, photographers, computer graphics specialists, experimenters and hobbyists. We want to be your lenticular supplier. ORIGINAL VARI-VUE LENTICULAR LENSES

31/32 Lines per inch. 18" x 24" x 1/8" with line orientation along the 24" length. When cut, produces four 9"x12" or 8"x10" lenses per sheet. Lens is manufactured out of rigid polystyrene and is of high optical quality. These lenses produce very high depth stereographic images, though they have also been used in animation as well. The lenses were injection molded and consequently have a singe, small dimple on the reverse center (non-line slide) of the lens. This dimple is usually not visible upon permanent lamination to photographic or printed image. PRICE:

57/58 Lines per inch 18" x 19" with line orientation along the 18" length. Made of approximately .04" (1mm) thick "rigid" vinyl. These lenses are multi-purpose and can be used for stereo, animation or a combination of both. PRICE:

57 Lines per inch 8 1/4" x 8 1/4" made out of approximately .04" (1mm) thick polystyrene of the highest quality. Has been used for stereo, animation or combination of both. PRICE: Call or email for latest prices

57 Lines per inch 9 x 11 made out of approximately .08" (2mm) thick vinyl. Has been used for stereo, animation or combination of both. Price:

110 lines per inch 27 1/4" x 34 1/2" with line orientation along the 34 1/2" length. Manufactured out of polystyrene to the highest standards. These sheets were used to produce extremely high quality animated images and was one of the most used formats by VariVue. The sheets were often used to produce smaller images of 1/2" to 2"; square such as blinking eyes, beating hearts and similar. One sheet can be used to produce over 1000 blinking eyes!! The lenses have also been used in high quality animations.

LENTICULAR LENSES FOR BILLBOARDS

  Lenticular lenses for billboards are sold as individual lenses as follows:

  3/8" x 6 feet $5.95
  1/2" (about 12.7mm) x 6 feet (about 1.95 meters) $6.95
  5/8" x 6 feet $7.95
  3/4" x 6 feet $8.95
  1" x 6 feet $15.95

Example: To produce a 6 foot by 12 foot billboard using 1" lenses, you would need to use 144 lenses ($2296.40).

12" x 12" VariVue fresnel lenses, manufactured out of polystyrene. These high quality fresnel lenses were used world wide for such applications as overhead projectors, telescopic flash units, solar powered devices, magnifiers of all varieties, optical condensers, television projection systems and television magnification systems, to name just a few applications. Please note: these lenses WERE NOT used for animation or stereographic purposes.

VARIVUE OPTICAL GLUE

  Original VariVue formula optical quality laminating glue designed specifically for VariVue polystyrene lenses. The glue has excellent drying qualities with minimum formation of bubbles. Drying should be conducted at a constant temperature, ideally at 68 degrees F (20 degrees C) over a period of 30 hours. As with all chemicals, work area should be well ventilated. Provides best possible stereographic depth and multiple image animations. $16 pint, $29 quart (one US quart is approximately .96 liter), $58 gallon. PLEASE NOTE: this produce is presently NOT available for shipment outside of New York.

  We can offer a variety of lenses of custom made lenses ranging from 30 to 300 lines per inch on special order. In most cases, the minimum quantity for custom run sheets is 1000 sheets. Each sheet is 12" x 16" or 8" x 12". Billboard sizes are also possible.
